What does the middle button do on the PERIPAD-706?

The middle button functions as a Scroll Key, similar to the scroll wheel on a standard mouse. To use the scroll feature, please follow these steps: Press and hold the middle button. While holding the button, slide your finger up or down on the trackpad surface. The page will scroll corresponding to your finger movement.

How do I charge the PERIPAD-706?

Locate the USB-C port on the side of the trackpad.

Use the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable: Plug the USB-C end into the trackpad’s port, and the USB-A end into a USB power adapter or a computer’s USB port.

Check the indicator light:

A red LED means the battery is low or charging.

When the battery is fully charged, the LED turns green (or stops flashing, depending on your model).

Once fully charged, unplug the cable if you want to use the trackpad wirelessly.

Charging times vary but typically range from 1–2 hours for a full charge.

Tip: You can continue to use the touchpad in wired mode while it charges.

What do the different indicator lights on the PERIPAD-706 mean?

Red Light (Solid): The trackpad is charging.

Green Light (Solid): The battery is fully charged.

Flashing Red Light: Low battery—the device needs to be charged soon.

Green Light (2.4G Mode): Indicates that the trackpad is connected via 2.4GHz wireless (using the USB dongle).

Blue Light (BT1): Indicates a Bluetooth 1 connection.

Blue Light (BT2): Indicates a Bluetooth 2 connection.

Flashing Blue Light (every second): The trackpad is in pairing mode.

How do I connect the PERIPAD-706 via Bluetooth on Windows?

Turn on the touchpad (switch from OFF to ON).

Select BT1 or BT2 on the device’s mode switch—this is how you choose which Bluetooth channel to use.

Press and hold the BT1 or BT2 button for 5 seconds until the LED starts flashing, indicating pairing mode.

On your Windows PC, go to Start → Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices and Add Bluetooth or other device.

Choose Bluetooth from the pop-up window.

Look for “PERIPAD-706” in the list of available devices and select it.

Once you see “Your device is ready to go!” or a similar confirmation, the PERIPAD-706 is successfully paired.

Tip: If the PERIPAD-706 doesn’t appear in the list, press the pairing button again for 5 seconds to ensure it’s in pairing mode. Move the touchpad closer to the computer if needed.

Why are there two Bluetooth channels (BT1 and BT2)?

The PERIPAD-706 includes two separate Bluetooth profiles so you can pair it with two different devices (e.g., a laptop and a tablet).

Toggle between BT1 and BT2 to seamlessly switch control from one device to another, without having to unpair/re-pair each time.

Does the PERIPAD-706 also support 2.4GHz wireless?

Yes. Alongside Bluetooth modes, there is a 2.4GHz mode (often labeled as 2.4G on the switch).

To use it, plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver (if included) into your computer’s USB port.

Slide the touchpad’s selector to 2.4G. A green indicator light often shows you’re connected via 2.4GHz wireless.

How can I tell if the PERIPAD-706 is successfully connected?

For Bluetooth, a solid blue LED (for BT1 or BT2) usually indicates a stable connection.

For 2.4GHz, a solid green LED typically indicates a successful link.

In Windows, you’ll also see a confirmation message such as “Your device is ready to go!”

How do I clean and maintain the touchpad surface?

Gently wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive moisture.

Keep the device away from extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Ensure it’s powered off if you’re doing a more thorough cleaning.

How can I troubleshoot if the cursor doesn’t move or the connection seems lost?

Check battery status: If the LED is flashing red, charge the device.

Reset the connection: Turn the touchpad off, then back on.

Re-pair or reinsert the 2.4GHz USB receiver (if applicable).

Try a different USB port for 2.4GHz or check Bluetooth is enabled for BT modes.

Why won’t the multi-finger gestures (three-finger or four-finger) activate when I try them?
