What does the middle button do on the PERIPAD-506?

The middle button functions as a Scroll Key, similar to the scroll wheel on a standard mouse. To use the scroll feature, please follow these steps: Press and hold the middle button. While holding the button, slide your finger up or down on the trackpad surface. The page will scroll corresponding to your finger movement.

What shall I do if the PERIPAD-506 Trackpad is scrolling involuntarily?
