This device might function if iPad keyboard has a Type C port

Unfortunately Type C port does not match to MacBook Pro, please try with an adaptor or hub.

Type C does not support to KVM switch

Will PERIMICE-201 (PS2) connect to an iPad tablet?

No, iPad use USB/Type C connections. PS2-Type is not compatible.
